Dear Colleagues,

This is to let to let you know that the Open Forums for the Vice Chancellor of Business Services, originally scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday of this week, have been canceled and are postponed until further notice. The Search Committee concluded its interviews and deliberation of the candidates but was unable to forward a sufficient number of finalists for the next round of consideration.

Further information regarding next steps will be distributed in the near future.

Supplementary Retirement Program (SRP) Information:
December 11, 2018
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to report the Board of Trustees for the Foothill-De Anza Community College District approved, at its December 10th meeting, the implementation of the Supplemental Retirement Plan (SRP) offered through PARS and accepted the letters of separation submitted as part of the application packet.
Participation in the SRP has allowed the District to draft creative solutions for the remaining $12.6M remaining in our budget reduction.  Allowing many employees to remain employed with the District who may not have otherwise been able to do so, and will contribute to retaining programs for students that may otherwise have been under review.
We wish the participants all the best as they transition into the next chapter of their lives and thank them for for all they have done in service to others.
