Our Purpose as stated in the bylaws:
It shall be the function of the Central Services Senate to participate in the governance of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District; to actively collect, evaluate, and disseminate information for the classified staff; and to represent the collective interest of the classified staff before or on any governance or committee.

Classified Retreat: The retreat was held May 8 and was very well attended. Lots of positive feedback was received both verbally and via the online survey. Many expressed how much they liked the opportunity to meet with staff from all three classified senate groups since this was the first time Foothill, De Anza and Central Services held a joint retreat. There were comments that some would have appreciated more time to allow people to get acquainted and do team building with people from the other entities. The food was great and the Dolce Hayes Mansion location was well received.
Next Meeting: 1:30 pm on Wednesday, November 11 - in the Carriage House at Foothill College. Classified staff interested in attending monthly meetings are welcome.

The CS Classified Senate has assumed responsibility for the CS Employee of the Month committee. If you would like to be a part of the fun of selecting (and surprising) the recipients, please contact your CSCS senator for more information. You can also help by nominating an outstanding Central Services employee using the online Nomination Form on the HR website. There is also a PDF version of the EOM Nomination Form to use if you need a printable version. Refer to the Employee of the Month Recipients list to see the names of employees who have received this award in the past.
For the last two years, the CSCS has been coordinating the Classified Retreat for Central Services staff. If you would like to help with this years' event, please contact your CSCS senator. Our participation has been paid for with CSCS funds. If you would like to help support this event and other CSCS efforts, please consider submitting a Payroll Deduction Withholding Request form in any amount. We greatly appreciate your support.
