Foothill- De Anza Community College District is committed to providing a working and learning environment free of harassment, hostility and intimidation. Sexual harassment is not tolerated. In accordance with the requirements of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the District is mandated to provide training for all employees on the issue of sexual harassment. Thus, we have developed a training plan designed to address the legal and practical aspects of recognizing, preventing and effectively responding to sexual harassment in the academic environment.
As an employee of the District, you are required to attend sexual harassment awareness training. This training must be renewed every three years. If it has been at least two years since you last attended a training session, now would be a good time to renew. You are welcome to attend any session regardless of campus designation.
