You've joined a creative, diverse, energizing community. We know that the start of this new employment adventure is filled with excitement, a wealth of information, and many questions.  The information below is provided to help and support you in your new role. 

Before Your First Day:

On or After Your First Day:

  • Obtain FHDA employee ID card
    • Central Services, Foothill and Sunnyvale Campus. Click here for instructions                              
    • De Anza Campus. Click here for instructions                                                                              
    • NOTE: You will need your campus-wide ID (CWID) and a current government issued ID
  • Complete required trainings:   
  • Harassment Prevention                                                                                                                            
  • Employees Parking:
    • Parking is free
    • Temporary hanger-style permits are available through Fall 2026
    • Pick up your free permit (one per employee, bring staff ID please) at:
      • Foothill (main) Police Department – Campus Center Room 2103, 12345 El Monte Road, Los Altos Hills or
      • De Anza Police Substation – Hinson Campus Center Lower Level, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd, Cupertino
    • Display the permit on your rear view mirror or dashboard so it is clearly visible.
    • Parking enforcement started on November 1, 2025. Warnings (not tickets) were issued for the first two weeks, then citations will be issued for vehicles parked in staff spaces without a permit showing. Due to construction, the Sunnyvale campus is exempt from enforcement until June 2026.
