The FHDA District Diversity and Equity Advisory Committee (DDEAC) is a district-level committee charged with review of providing input on current policies and procedures that address equity, diversity and inclusion in Foothill-De Anza Community College District. All members on the committee are committed to the mission and vision of FHDA serving all its employees, students and visitors by ensuring our institution is welcoming and inclusive of all.
In addition to helping the Foothill-De Anza Community College District find and retain the very best employees, representing our diverse student population, our work includes:
- Reviewing and revising the Equal Employment Opportunity Plan,
- Reviewing and making suggestions for enhancing hiring policies and procedures to ensure diversity, equity and inclusion,
- Reviewing and making suggestions for improvements to applicable FHDA Board Policies and Procedures focused on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion,
- Making recommendations for Professional Development and training opportunities that further the mission and build the capacity of students, employees and community members.
